Tour Overview

This 11-night, 12-day journey combines the heritage of Rajasthan with tiger country in Central India. The tour begins in Delhi and continues to Jaipur, where you explore grand forts, palaces and historic observatories.

Continue to Ranthambore National Park for tiger safaris among dry forests, grasslands, lakes and rocky landscapes. After your Rajasthan experience, return to Delhi before travelling towards Jabalpur and the wildlife reserves of Madhya Pradesh.

The second part of the journey focuses on Bandhavgarh and Kanha National Parks. Several safari opportunities allow you to explore different forest habitats while looking for tigers and other wildlife.

The tour ends in Nagpur, followed by your onward journey to Delhi.

DAY 1

Arrive in Delhi

Arrive in Delhi and meet your private driver at the airport.
Transfer to your hotel and complete the check-in formalities.
Spend the rest of the day at leisure after your journey.

DAY 2

Delhi to Jaipur

After breakfast, depart Delhi for Jaipur by private vehicle.
Travel through the countryside towards Rajasthan.
Arrive in Jaipur and check into your hotel.
Spend the evening exploring local markets or relaxing at the hotel.
You can also enjoy a traditional Rajasthani dinner if time permits.

DAY 3

Jaipur Sightseeing

After breakfast, begin your Jaipur sightseeing.
Visit Amber Fort, set on the hills outside the city and known for its courtyards, gateways and palace buildings.
Continue to the City Palace, home to royal residences, courtyards and museum collections.
Visit Jantar Mantar, an historic astronomical observatory with large stone instruments.
Stop at Hawa Mahal for photographs before exploring Jaipur's traditional markets.
Return to your hotel after sightseeing.

DAY 4

Jaipur to Ranthambore

Enjoy breakfast before departing Jaipur for Ranthambore.
Travel through the Rajasthan countryside towards the wildlife reserve.
Arrive at your wildlife lodge and complete check-in.
Spend the afternoon relaxing at the lodge.
Depending on your confirmed safari schedule, you may enjoy an afternoon safari.

DAY 5

Ranthambore Tiger Safari

Wake early for your morning jeep safari in Ranthambore National Park.
Explore forests, grasslands, lakes and rocky areas while looking for tigers and other wildlife.
Return to the lodge for breakfast and some time to rest.
Later, enjoy an afternoon safari according to your confirmed schedule.
Look for sambar, chital, nilgai, wild boar, crocodiles and several bird species.

DAY 6

Ranthambore to Delhi

After breakfast, leave Ranthambore for Delhi.
Travel back through the countryside of Rajasthan and towards the capital.
On arrival, check into your hotel.
Spend the evening at leisure and prepare for the next stage of your journey.

DAY 7

Delhi to Jabalpur

After breakfast, transfer to Delhi airport for your onward journey to Jabalpur.
On arrival, meet your driver and transfer to your hotel.
Depending on your arrival time, explore a nearby attraction or relax at the hotel.
Spend the evening preparing for your journey into Central India's tiger country.

DAY 8

Jabalpur to Bandhavgarh

After breakfast, depart Jabalpur for Bandhavgarh.
Travel through the rural landscapes of Madhya Pradesh.
Arrive at your wildlife lodge and complete check-in.
Spend the rest of the day relaxing at the lodge.

DAY 9

Bandhavgarh Tiger Safari

Start early with a morning jeep safari in Bandhavgarh National Park.
Explore forests, grasslands and surrounding hills while looking for Bengal tigers.
Your naturalist and driver will help you understand animal tracks, calls and other signs of wildlife.
Return to the lodge for breakfast and a break.
Enjoy an afternoon safari according to your confirmed schedule.

DAY 10

Bandhavgarh to Kanha

Enjoy breakfast before departing for Kanha National Park.
Travel through the countryside of Madhya Pradesh towards the Kanha region.
Arrive at your wildlife lodge and check into your accommodation.
Spend the evening relaxing and preparing for the following day's safari.

DAY 11

Kanha Tiger Safari and Transfer to Nagpur

Wake early for a morning safari in Kanha National Park.
Explore the park's sal forests, open meadows and water bodies.
Look for tigers, barasingha, sambar, chital, gaur, wild boar and various bird species.
Return to the lodge for breakfast and check out.
Continue towards Nagpur by private vehicle.
Arrive in Nagpur and check into your hotel.

DAY 12

Nagpur to Delhi and Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Nagpur Airport.
Take your onward flight to Delhi according to your confirmed schedule.
